  • Description is exactly "Hiroshima sculpture by Arto Chakmakjian presented to W. K. H. Panofsky by A. I. Alikhanian, Director of The Physical Institute of Armenia, SSR at the SLAC Dedication Banquet, Stanford Faculty Club, September 9, 1967. The sculpture stands 25 inches high on a 6 inch black base. The custom display case of glass, trimmed in wood, measures 30 inches high, 12 inches deep and 12 inches wide with a 6.5 inch wooden support at the bottom.
